Tournaments and drills on the court

The club runs Americano and Mexicano without paper tables: players gather at the terminal, rounds run in sync on all courts, cameras keep score, the table is on the shared screen. On a free court — drills with unlimited attempts scored 0 to 100 with a club leaderboard.

What it is and why

Americano is the most popular club-night format and the most hassle for an organiser: who plays whom, on which court, how many points, who sits out. On a smart court the round schedule builds itself, cameras keep every game's score and the table updates on the shared screen.

Drills turn a free court into a training machine: cameras score every attempt — serve accuracy, shot speed, reaction at the net — and the result goes into the club leaderboard.

What it does

Tournaments and drills on the court

  • Americano and Mexicano from the court terminal, without a referee or paper tables
  • A tournament on 2–4 courts: synchronised rounds and pair rotation
  • A shared tournament screen: who plays where, round points, the table
  • Drills 0–100: serve accuracy, shot speed, reaction at the net
What the court needs

A smart court with a terminal; a tournament on several courts needs the club network between courts.

How it works

How it works

  1. Gathering players

Four or more players sign in at the terminal by QR and choose Americano or Mexicano.

  2. Schedule

Rounds build themselves: partners rotate in Americano, pairs are matched by the table in Mexicano.

  3. Score

Cameras keep every game's score; a manual point does not count in Americano.

  4. Several courts

A tournament on 2–4 courts: the next round starts when all courts finish; pairs move by themselves.

  5. Shared screen

Who plays where, round points and the table — on the tournament screen.

  6. Drills

On a free court the player checks in by QR and makes as many attempts as they like; cameras score each one, the 0–100 result goes to the leaderboard and the player's app profile.

  7. Targets

Pick 3 × 3 zones on one half of the court on the terminal. A hit counts by the bounce point seen by the ball cameras; the court voice says «Hit!» or «Miss.», and every 10 balls the streak score is shown.

  8. Ball-machine mode

Balls are fed to the player's half and the system counts how many landed in the chosen zone. The result goes to the drill leaderboard and to the player's app via QR.

In detail

Tournaments and drills on the court

Americano and Mexicano on the court

Four or more players gather at the terminal and choose the format. The round schedule builds itself: partners rotate in Americano, pairs are matched by the table in Mexicano. Cameras keep the score of every game.

Two-court tournament and shared screen

A tournament on 2–4 courts at once: rounds are synchronised, the next one starts when all courts have finished, and pairs move by themselves. The shared /tournament screen shows who plays where, round points and the table.

Drills 0–100 and club leaders

On a free court — drills with unlimited attempts: serve accuracy, shot speed, reaction at the net. Cameras score every attempt and the 0–100 result goes to the club leaderboard.

Limits, honestly

Limits, honestly

  • A multi-court tournament needs the club network between courts.
  • A manual point does not count in Americano — score only from cameras.
  • If the number of players is not a multiple of four, extras sit out in turn — equally for everyone.

How do I compare myself in drills?

The 0–100 result goes to the club leaderboard and your account.

How many courts can be combined?

From 2 to 4.

When does the next round start?

When all courts have finished.

How does Mexicano differ from Americano?

In Mexicano pairs are matched by the table; in Americano partners rotate by schedule.

Which drills are there?

Where is the tournament table?

On the shared tournament screen and in the terminal summary.

Do I need to mark zones on the court?

No. Zones are chosen by touch on the terminal diagram; the ball cameras count the hits.
