Heatmap and player movement
Court cameras follow each of the four players through the whole match. After the game the app shows a heat map: where on court the player spent time, distance covered, peak speed and sprints, time at the net. No wristbands or sensors.
What it is and why
In padel position decides a lot: the pair that gets to the net in time wins the rally. But players do not see it — they remember shots, not where they stood. The heat map shows it honestly: from the court cameras, for each player, for the whole match.
Overview cameras see the players on the whole court, the court server turns their position into court coordinates and builds the movement over the match. All four players see their map and numbers in the app and can compare themselves with their partner and opponents.
What it does
Heatmap and player movement
- A heatmap for each player per match
- Distance, metres per minute, top speed, sprints
- Share of time at the net, in transition and at the back
- Comparison with your partner and opponents
An AI Padel smart court with overview cameras.
How it works
How it works
- Cameras see the players
Overview cameras in the court corners see all four players in every frame.
- Position on court
Using the camera calibration the court server turns a player's position into metres on court.
- Movement over the match
From positions over time it computes each player's path: distance, speed, sprints.
- Court zones
The server counts how long the player spent at the net, in transition and at the back.
- Map in the app
After the match the match card shows the heat map and numbers of all four players.
- Comparison
Compare yourself with your partner, opponents and past matches.

Limits, honestly
Limits, honestly
- If players hide each other for a long time or leave the cameras' view, points on the map drop out for those seconds.
- The map and numbers appear after the match, not during play.
- This is movement from cameras, not a heart-rate monitor: no pulse or calories.
