Highlights: the best rallies, automatically

The court server finds the best rallies of the match by itself and cuts them from every camera — with a score overlay, the club logo and court sound. A player marks their own moment with the terminal button, a “both hands up” gesture, in the app or on a smartwatch. Clips arrive in the app for every player of the match — ready to download and share.

Court 4, a real match: the whole court and all four players, one rally; faces blurred

What it is and why

After a good game you want to watch the best rally again and show it to friends. But there is no time to film on a phone while playing, and nobody will edit an hour-long recording. On a smart court the clips appear by themselves.

For us a highlight is a rally with real shots, not just a moment when players run a lot: the system counts shots from the players' arm movements in 3D and drops ball collecting, warm-up and walking between points.

For the club highlights are living content: players share clips with the club badge, and with the players' consent the club posts the best moments itself.

What it does

Highlights

  • The best rallies by themselves, no manual editing — and only rallies with real shots
  • Your own moment — the highlight button, a “both hands up” gesture, the app or a smartwatch
  • From every court camera, plus a player close-up after the match
  • Score overlay, an intro with club, court and date, the club logo; court sound — you hear the players react
  • Vertical 9:16 clips for stories and short videos
  • Bystanders are blurred; players can blur their own faces before sharing
What the court needs

An AI Padel smart court: overview cameras and the court server. Shot-based selection and gesture marks use the players' 3D poses; “★ Moment” from the wrist needs a Wear OS smartwatch.

How it works

How it works

  1. The cameras record the match

The court overview cameras record the game from several angles together with the court sound.

  2. The system looks for the best rallies

From the players' 3D poses and the ball, the court server finds intense rallies with shots: at least three shots (two if the ball is seen), an exchange between pairs on both sides of the net. Ball collecting and warm-up are dropped. The best are ranked by rally length and shot power.

  3. A player marks their moment

The highlight button on the terminal, a gesture — both hands above the head for about a second, a mark in the app or “★ Moment” on a smartwatch. 20 seconds before the mark and 3 after are saved — the rally and the players' reaction.

  4. The clip is built

The moment is cut from every camera. The clip gets an overlay: the score before and after the rally, “point”, “game” or “set”, an intro with the club, court and date, and the club logo. Spectators behind the glass and players on other courts are blurred.

  5. Vertical version

For stories and short videos — a 9:16 copy with its own, larger score overlay. The frame follows the ball and the player, and the shot is replayed at half speed.

  6. In the app

Clips appear for every player of the match — usually within a few minutes after the rally or the end of the match. They can be watched from different cameras, downloaded, saved to the gallery and shared.

Court 4, a real match: a vertical clip cut from the wide camera, the frame follows the player; faces blurred

What you will see

What you will see

Player in the app

Clips of every match with a caption saying why the rally made the cut (for example “9 shots, 2 overhead”), different angles, “Share video” with the club badge. Build a reel — pick moments with filters (points won, long rallies, fast ball, my shots, smashes and bandejas) and join them into one clip.

Player on court

On the terminal after the match — the match moments with the ball flight line. Guest games are picked up by QR without signing in to the app.

Limits, honestly

Limits, honestly

  • Automatic selection relies on player poses and the ball. If the players' hands are poorly visible or the cameras did not see the ball, a great rally may be missed — mark it yourself with the button, a gesture or the app.
  • The score overlay appears only if the score was kept in the match.
  • The full match recording is kept for 30 days, highlights for 90 days; 7 days before deletion players get a reminder to download their clips.
  • Own faces can be blurred only on clips recorded after the court server update; bystanders are always blurred.
  • Filming needs the players' consent, given on the terminal before the game. Clips appear on the club's social media only if the player allowed it in the app.

Questions and answers

Questions and answers

How many highlights does a match get?

Automatically — a few best rallies (by default up to five, by rally length and shot power) plus every moment the players marked themselves. The number of best rallies is set per club.

How do I mark my own moment?

Four ways: the highlight button on the court terminal, a gesture — both hands above your head for about a second, a mark in the app or “★ Moment” on a smartwatch.

How long is a clip?

A marked moment — 20 seconds before the mark and 3 after. An automatic highlight follows the length of the rally.

When do clips appear in the app?

Usually within a few minutes after the rally or the end of the match; the player close-up comes after the match.

Do clips have sound?

Yes, the court sound is kept — you hear the shots and the players' reaction.

Who can see my clips?

The players of that match and the club. On the club's social media — only if you allowed it in the app.

Can faces be blurred?

Bystanders — spectators behind the glass and players on other courts — are always blurred. Before you share, the app asks whether to blur the faces of the match players.

How long are clips kept?

Highlights for 90 days, the full match recording for 30 days. A reminder to download comes 7 days before deletion.

Is the club logo on the clips?

Yes: the club logo and an intro with the club, court and date. The club can add a sponsor logo on chosen courts and times.

Can I download and share them?

Yes: “Share video” sends the clip itself with the club badge; “Save to gallery” is in the new app version.
