Auto scoring: cameras keep the match score
The court cameras see every rally and keep the score by padel rules: 15–30–40, golden point or advantage, games, sets and tie-break. Players just play — the score is large on the court scoreboard, the club screen, the stream, the smartwatch and in the app. Nobody writes points down or argues about the score.

What it is and why
In amateur padel the players usually keep the score themselves — and after a couple of games they forget it or start arguing. On an AI Padel smart court the court server keeps the score: ball cameras follow the ball, overview cameras follow the players, and after every rally the system decides by padel rules which pair won the point.
The score matters because everything else comes from it: the match result for all four players, rating and level, statistics, highlights with a score overlay, the scoreboard and the stream. Auto scoring is the base of the smart court.
For the club it means fewer questions at the front desk and more value in every booking: players leave the court with a ready result and video, and the scoreboard and stream run without an operator.
What it does
Auto scoring
- Padel rules: 15–30–40, golden point or advantage, sets, tie-break, super tie-break — 8 match formats
- The score updates after every point: scoreboard, club screen, stream, smartwatch, app
- Nothing to tap between rallies — neither for players nor for a referee
- An unclear point is never guessed blindly; a coach or admin can correct it with a PIN — logged
- Works inside the club network even if the internet drops
- The result and match statistics go to all four players' apps right away
An AI Padel smart court: ball cameras, overview cameras, court server, terminal, scoreboard.
How it works
How it works
- The match starts
Players tap Start on the court terminal — with the app QR code or as guests — and choose the match format. If people are playing and nobody started a match, the court server starts it by itself — from play or from the booking.
- The cameras see the rally
Ball cameras find the ball in every frame and build its path in 3D: the serve, bounces off the floor and glass, crossing the net. Overview cameras see the players — where they stand and who hits.
- The server decides the point
When the rally ends, the court server decides by padel rules who won the point: two bounces on the opponent's side, ball in the net, a shot into the opponent's glass without a bounce, a service fault.
- Everyone sees the score
Seconds after the point the new score is on the court scoreboard, the club screen, the stream, the smartwatch and in the players' app.
- If the cameras are not sure
The system takes the cameras' best estimate; with no estimate the point is not awarded at random. The terminal's Disputed ball screen shows who won the last point according to the system and why, with a replay. A coach or admin can correct the point with their PIN — every correction is logged with the author and time.
- After the match
The result, score by sets, shot statistics and video appear in the app for all four players; the match goes into their history and rating.
- Score check
Every scoreboard point is stored with how it was decided. Club staff blindly mark whether it is right, and auto-scoring accuracy is computed from these marks; we will publish the figure with its method once there are enough marks.

What you will see
What you will see
Players on court
Scoreboard: large points, games, sets, who serves. Terminal: the same score and Disputed ball — the system's decision on the last point, the reason and a camera replay.
Player in the app
Their match with the score by sets, video and statistics. During play — the live score on the smartwatch.
Club in the admin panel
Courts and live matches with the score, a log of score corrections. In Labeling, staff check random rallies and the admin panel shows how accurately the cameras kept score against those marks.
Spectators
The club screen and the match stream with the score over the video.
Limits, honestly
Limits, honestly
- The ball is small and fast: players and rackets hide it, and at the near end the cameras see the floor in front of the glass worse. So some rallies are not decided with confidence.
- Such points are never guessed: only the cameras' estimate counts, and with no estimate the point is not awarded and a coach or admin corrects the score.
- We do not publish an accuracy percentage until it is measured by manual checks. The club sees the measured accuracy in its admin panel: staff label random rallies — up to 40 a day — and the system compares them with the cameras' decisions. The acceptance target is at least 95 % of points scored correctly.
- Auto scoring works only on an AI Padel smart court with ball cameras.
Who it helps
Who it helps
Players
No need to remember the score or argue; the result and match video are in the app right away, and the match counts for rating.
Clubs
Every booking becomes a match with a result and video — a reason to come back and share. The scoreboard and stream run without an operator.
Coaches
Practice match scores without writing them down; a disputed point is corrected with your own PIN and stays in the log.

Questions and answers
Questions and answers
What if the cameras are not sure who won the point?
The system takes the cameras' best estimate. With no estimate the point is not awarded — we never guess blindly. A coach or admin can award such a point in Disputed ball on the terminal with their PIN.
Can players correct the score themselves?
Players see the system's decision on the last point, the reason and a replay. A coach or admin corrects the score with a PIN, and the correction is logged with the author and time. So the score is the same for everyone and never changes “by agreement”.
Do we need a referee?
No. The cameras keep the score; a referee or coach is only needed when a point has to be corrected.
Which match formats are supported?
Eight: golden point, classic with advantage, Star Point, two sets and a super tie-break to 10, one set, a pro set with a tie-break at 8–8, short sets to 4 and a timed game until the end of the booking. The format is chosen on the terminal before the game.
How do we start a match?
On the court terminal: sign in with the app QR code or play as guests. If you forget, the court server starts the match by itself when it sees play, or from the court booking.
How fast does the scoreboard update?
Seconds after the rally ends — on the scoreboard, club screen, stream, smartwatch and app.
Do we need special balls or sensors on players?
No. Regular padel balls, nothing on rackets or players — only the court cameras.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The court server keeps the score inside the club network. The internet is needed to deliver the result to the players' app outside the club — it goes out once the connection is back.
How accurate is auto scoring?
The honest answer is a measurement in your club: in the admin panel staff check random rallies and the system shows the accuracy with a confidence interval. The acceptance target is at least 95 % of points scored correctly; we do not promise numbers on the site before that.
Where do players see the result?
In the app, under My games: score by sets, video, statistics. All four players get it.
